4- Sri Anandamayi Ashram, Varanasi

This very ashram was fortunately able to enjoy this unique scene on the occasion of the Savitri Mahayajna for three years from 1947-1950, which was not performed anywhere else previously. Its object was ‘world-peace’.

On the occasion of Chaitra Navaratra this Ashram was established in 1945 on the bank of the Ganga through the untiring efforts of the venerable Gurupriya Deviji. The Vasant Puja continued to be performed here each year after the acquirement of land in 1944; this worship has been coming down without any break till today. Not only this, even oblation is being given daily without any break in the pit for oblation (Havan-Kund) of the Yajna that continued for three years. The glory of this place cannot be expressed by words; it may be experienced only through the surrounding environment.

Good place to stay at a low price like in Varanasi city. Environment and people are spiritual. It is very good for those who will go with 4-5 people group. But the Distance from the ghats is quite high. If you afford to stay near of ghats then go for it.

Good place to visit and stay if you want to keep travel low budget. Rooms are clean. Washrooms are common but clean. Place is near to Vishwanath Temple.

If you visit in the summer season then the room becomes hot which is unbearable if you are from a moderate or colder area or if you haven’t faced the summer season before.

Otherwise, the toilets and sanitation system are proper and connectivity to water is also good. They also provide free parking if you book a room

Very good asramam in kashi. Very good accommodation and lunch and night food are also provided. The rooms are also very good and there is still hot water, but there are no rooms, but the management will make arrangements and provide heating. But you have to pay 20 rupees for a bucket of water. There is a very ancient temple in front of the ashram and the ashram has a very nice climate. It can be said that Telugu people can find very good Telugu food here and from here the temple is 1.5 km. A lot of autos and rickshaws can be found here.
